What is a clean agent?
With the intention of not leaving residues or damaging important or invaluable assets, clean agents are substances that suppress fire outbreaks, safeguard human lives and provide us with the above-mentioned benefits.
Clean agents are those gaseous, non-electrically conductive extinguishing agents that evaporate when applied without leaving residues, being much more environmentally friendly than other options.
These systems are fast, effective, safe, clean and environmentally friendly. Clean agent systems are also three-dimensional. Most systems can reach extinguishing concentration levels in just 10 seconds or less. Clean agents are designed to suppress fire while it is still in its initial stage, meaning that it will suppress the fire before it grows and enters the heat/flame stage. Clean agents that are dispersed in a fire suppression system, are safe to use in human populated areas, do not deplete ozone and have a short or no atmospheric life. There is no costly cleanup once the clean agents have been discharged because they are fast vaporizing gases that leave no residue after they dissipate.
