Innovative fire suppression systems by aerosol

In this blog, we will explore the various innovative fire suppression systems in the context of smart buildings for different business verticals.

How does the aerosol work?

They consist of a compound formed by a solid aerosol in a non-pressurized red container that aerosolizes finely divided solid particles. The aerosol is self-generated by a combustion process of the solid aerosol-forming compound, triggered by an activation device, also known as the initiator.

The aerosol was originally developed as an alternative to Halon and other conventional extinguishing agents. It is exceptionally safe and effective. The active substances in it are solid micro particles that completely fill the compartment and attack the combustion process of a fire at the chemical level. As a result, the flames are instantly knocked down and the energy of the fire is eliminated.

The amount of extinguishing agent required is significantly less than that of conventional extinguishing agents such as CO2, FM-200, Inergen, etc. In addition, the aerosol offers significant savings in installation and maintenance: It does not require any pressure vessel, manifolds, nozzles or piping. In addition, unlike other agents, it is environmentally friendly.

Extinguishing mechanism

Unlike many other extinguishing agents, the aerosol interferes with the chain reaction of the fire, leaving oxygen levels intact.

Installation

A generator is not pressurized and is installed in the environment or directly on the object to be protected. After activation, an aerosol cloud will form and extinguish the fire. We have several generators of different capacities that always offer you the best solution according to your needs.

The advantages of the aerosol

It does not deplete oxygen, is non-corrosive and non-conductive, does not cause excess pressure, does not harm the environment and is not dangerous to humans or animals.

A fire can have disastrous consequences for the finances and business continuity of any company or public organization. The economic damages caused by a fire can be avoided with the aerosol system and in Edintel we have the solution to solve any need, do not hesitate to contact us.
